Within the framework of cooperation to promote technology application and innovation in agricultural production, the Quang Tri Association of Forestry, Agricultural, Seafood Exporters and Producers coordinated with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and UBN Company to conduct an on-site acceptance evaluation of the installation, operation, and usage of technological systems at the Truong Son Medicinal Herb Cooperative in Cam Lo District, Quang Tri Province.
At the guava orchard of the Truong Son Medicinal Herb Cooperative, the smart irrigation system provided by UBN has been deployed, contributing to automating the irrigation process, monitoring environmental parameters, and optimizing water resource efficiency in production. The application of this system also aims to reduce manual labor, enabling growers to be more proactive in irrigation management and crop care.
During the evaluation visit, the delegation directly inspected the equipment installation status, system operational capability, and sensor data collection, while engaging in discussions with the Cooperative regarding practical usage. The parties also discussed advantages, challenges in operation, the system’s ability to meet production needs, and areas requiring further adjustments and enhancements to maximize effectiveness within the model.
This acceptance activity serves not only to evaluate post-installation deployment but also offers an opportunity for direct exchange regarding local agricultural production’s real-world needs. The insights gathered from this model will serve as an essential foundation for the involved parties to continue researching, refining solutions, and improving technology applicability to fit actual production conditions.
